A corporate film for Shell moving between real footage, hand drawn illustration and 3D animation, covering biofuel, the Shell liveWIRE young business programme and the Shell FLNG vessel, before closing on a mosaic built from real world photographs.

Shell Energy in Progress: full film

The Brief

The film was based on bringing images from their corporate report to life. This meant we already had a kind of storyboard to begin with and then just needed to bring all the imagery to life.

What CUMI Created

We used photography, motion graphics and CGI to animate all the scenes and create a film that flowed and progressed towards the final message.
