LICC Whole Life Worship
Five short animated films made for LICC and Watering Can Media's Whole Life Worship series, each pairing abstract kinetic type animation with illustrated everyday scenes, closing on its own statement about worship reaching into ordinary life.
The Brief
Make a series of short poetic animation illustrating that worship brings us into a place of clarity and freedom no matter what difficulties and trials we face.
What CUMI Created
We worked with musician Sarah Simmons to write 5 poetic animations. We then needed to develop a style which took into account the limited budget that was available. This often works out well as simple styles and characters are just as charming and effective as more complex ones and sometimes even more so. We then storyboarded and hand animated and composited the whole film together.
